Matthew's Field Day

After a rainy, cold week, rain did not cancel Field Day for Matthew's class.  Clouds were amongst us and the ground was soggy, but the fourth graders prevailed.

And, to finish the day off?  The tug-o-war.

Despite the weather is was a great time at the track.

Matthew's Spring Program

Matthew's 4th grade class had their spring program at the High School Auditorium.  He was so excited for this program.  They had been practicing songs on our country, state, and patriotism.

The class even wrote an additional verse to "Home on the Range".

The program was great and we arrived early enough for some prime seating.

Trip to the zoo.

We spent the day in Topeka for Grandma's birthday. 

Lunch followed by a trip to the zoo.

We attempted some pictures of the great grandkids which is nearly impossible to accomplish.

It was a great day with family.

Belated Birthday Present.

Do you HuHot?

I love to eat at HuHot Mongolian Grill.

I use to save this indulgence for the

occassional GNO (girl's night out)

however now that Miss Hannah has grown a love

for the flavor we may get to frequent the grill more often.
