For Christmas, Hannah wanted to attend a dance convention in Kansas City.  It was a weekend long event held at the Sheraton at Crown Center (previously the Hyatt Regency).

There were literally hundreds of girls attending.
Hannah soaked it all in and had a lot of fun.
It was a fast paced atmosphere that moved through various types of dance over the two days.

Hannah and her friends, Ava and Lilly, had the opportunity to get their picture taken with one of their instructors.

Matthew didn't think that the dance convention was too exciting but he did get some quality time with his Dad.

Weekend Getaway.

We took a little weekend get-away to the lake. 
Reserved a cabin and some kayaks and r-e-l-a-x-e-d. 
It was such a treat that we went ahead
and booked a cabin for next summer.

After a long night of lecturing at class, it was such a treat to come home and find this.

Snow Boots in Summer.

It's almost 100 degrees outside but we found a great deal and bought Mallory some nice, warm snow boots.
