| Today is the day. Mallory's surgery at Children's Mercy. We arrived at the hospital at 11:00 to check-in and then camped out in the waiting area till it was Mallory's turn to go back. After a fairly short 15 minutes of playing in the play room, the nurse came to get Mallory for all the necessary pre-op hoopla. |

| Matthew and Hannah came along with us for this surgery. They are old enough to understand what is going on and appreciate what their sister has to go through. |

| They did a wonderful job of keeping busy and were very patient the whole day. I was very proud of them. |
