Mallory Surgery Update- Post 4

Mallory's Knee
Her incision is fairly small and steri-stripped.  She will have to wear an Ace Bandage for the next several days. 
No cast, no splint, no crutches.

The procedure had done was what they call "guided growth surgery" and they inserted an "eight plate".  The eight plate slows/stops the overactive side from growth allowing the other side to catch up.  Actual correction of her deformity will take place over 6-12 months.
