Spoiled.

Dot is growing.
And adjusting to our family.
She's pretty well settled.
A little spoiled.
Love's to run.
Trips to the park.
Running with or after the kids.
Life is good.

Just chillin'

What could be more perfect?
Dora pajama's and chair, bowl of cereal, and favorite blanket.

Success!!

Hannah has been struggling with the whole big-girl-potty issue. We banned her almost-nightly ice cream treat back in February, with hopes that she would give in. Well a month later, we have SUCCESS! Hannah is now a big girl! Bye, Bye Pull-ups! We celebrated by taking the kids to Sandy's (Kuntz's Drive-In) for root beer floats.

Got Bangs?

We've been going through the painful process of growing Hannah's bangs out. She is at the stage now where her hair has to be pulled back. Being an independent, fiesty, almost three year old, on most days that's impossible.

As fast as you can.

Next to the park that we go to, is a large drainage ditch. The kids love to run down it and the dog loves to chase them.

Read to me.

Every night, Hannah picks a book from her library and brings it to us and says "Read to me, read my book".

Mallory's Pet Rock

Mallory found a rock that was painted blue at the park. She is so proud of this rock. She carries it all around the house and calls it her pet. It's been fun for us to see Mallory use her imagination in such a creative way.

Fun at the Park

The kids and I spent part of the afternoon at Bicentennial Park in Abilene. It is one of the smaller parks, but the kids really like it.

We took Dot with us and she spent most of the time chasing after the kids.

Mallory was in a terrific mood and even had some fun on the playground equipment.

Matt likes to explore and find something new on each trip to the park.

Hannah spent most of the time drinking her grape slush from Sonic.

Creations.

Hannah mimics a lot of what her big brother does. Matthew is an amazing artist. The things that he can make with Play-Doh are incredible.

Hannah decided to make some art of her own. She told me that she was making a dolphin.

Dress Up

Hannah's favorite thing to do is play dress-up. She has a box full of dress-up clothes and it's fun to see what she comes up with!

Lil' Fix-Its

We had a chair break a while back and Matthew & Hannah were intrigued with fixing it. They had all kinds of solutions as to how to fix it. As you can see, they had a little help from the dog.

Longing for warmer weather.

The cold weather that we've had this weekend makes me long for the 60 degree weather we had a week ago. We took the kids to the park and let them burn off some energy one evening.
Matt loves to push his sisters on the merry-go-round.

Hannah loves to hand from the monkey bars.

Mallory loves to walk the dog, but was not in the mood for pictures this evening.

Blue Dog

Here is a story that is funny in the hindsight.......Dot stays in Mallory's room during the day. Now keep in mind that the bedroom is "Mallory-Proof" which would lead you to believe that it is "dog-proof". On a recent evening, I came home to find that the dog had found a blue ink pen and chewed it to pieces. Thankfully, she didn't spread the ink all over, but, she had ink all over her nice white coat! It was very hard to get a picture of her with her new blue color, but I believe that we will be washing ink out of her coat for quite some time!
