I took Hannah to Gina's to get her haircut today. Hannah was bound and determined that she wanted short hair. I think she was getting tired of the combing sessions every evening after bath time. I settled and said OK. We ended up cutting 4-5 inches off. She now has a cute little cut that should be fairly low maintenance.

Hannah was pretty excited. I, however, was a little sad. I have NEVER had long hair so I was delighted that I had a little girl with gorgeous locks.

Hannah's haircut makes her look older. It will be easy to take care of.
Just before bedtime, Hannah finally realized that her hair was too short for a pony tail.
Reality set in.
She instantly wanted her long hair back.
