This may sound a little crazy, but......my family never took a vacation while I was growing up. Growing up on a dairy makes traveling pretty much impossible. My family decided about a month ago that maybe we should take a trip. Just a short one. Not to far. Let's not make it too challenging. We decided to go to Omaha. Kids and all.
This was a rare sight during the trip. Maxton does not like his car seat and made sure that everyone knew about it. Gotta love it when they start getting a little independent. Todd and I drove seperate from the rest of the family since we wanted to stop in Lincoln to visit family. We met up with the rest of the pack at the Strategic Air & Space Museum. We spent the weekend at the Farmer's Market, various museum's, and the Henry Doorly Zoo. Needless to say, we all survived our first vacation.
